Covid 19 and Your Health
The health and safety of our patients, team and our community is extremely important to us at Pine.
We are following all of the recommendations from AHS which means that all of our appointments will be switched to telehealth (either secure video or phone) for psychology, dietitian, lactation, and physiotherapy until further notice. All massage therapy and acupuncture appointments will be rescheduled.
We understand transitioning exclusively to telehealth is not ideal for some people however, we are working diligently to prevent disruption to our client’s therapeutic experience as much as possible. We believe this is the best course of action we can take to help contain the spread of COVID-19, while also continuing to support to our clients during this time of uncertainty and stress.
Transitioning to telehealth may be a big change for people and some people may feel that telehealth doesn’t feel like a good fit. Our experience is that we are able to connect, offer strategies, and support you through telehealth with similar effectiveness to in-person therapy for many issues.
We also understand that current circumstances may not allow for you to have a safe and confidential space to participate in telehealth. If for any reason you are unable to participate in telehealth but you need support, please reach out to us and we can discuss potential alternative options. For psychology clients, we are able to provided limited in-person appointments for urgent situations – please contact our office to make arrangements.
