This in-person group (housed at our YEG location) offers support for BIPOC/LatinX Mothers Mental Wellness and will cover
- Mothering, mental health, and mental wellness in the 1st year postpartum
- Topics of discussion: to be decided by participants at the beginning of the session
- Facilitators are there to hold a safe space for everyone
- Support group: focus on helping participants to cope, to create a network.
This group is offered as an in-person, single session drop-in, occurring the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. Mothers are encouraged to return to subsequent sessions, should they find the group beneficial.
This group is a 2-hour, free support group, limited to 10 mothers (+babies) per session. A waitlist will be offered should a given session be full, and our admin team will contact individuals in order of registration, should spaces become available.
