Philosophy:

During life transitions, people need a safe space to gain greater insight into their concerns, explore different ways of navigating life challenges, and learn new coping strategies to
become more resilient. I create a safe space by being non-judgmental, genuine, and empathetic.  I genuinely care about my client’s well-being, am relatable and easy to talk to, and am passionate about seeing people meet their personal and professional goals. My therapeutic style is collaborative, engaging, and feedback orientated. After gaining an in-depth understanding of what is bringing you to counselling, I tailor my treatment approach to your unique needs, preferences, and strengths. I draw upon evidence-based therapies to help client’s build a more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling life.

Treatment Specialities:

I have gained counselling experience in a variety of settings which have included: a women’s reproductive mental health clinic, a comprehensive DBT clinic, and a rural primary care network. I am currently a collaborator with Welldoc Alberta working to enhance Physician’s perinatal mental health. I am passionate about helping  people address perinatal  distress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, burn-out, and grief and loss. I connect well with people who are wanting to become more self-compassionate and create a life more in alignment with their values.
