Emily is a Dietitian registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alberta in 2018 and is currently completing her Master of Public Health. Before joining Pine, Emily worked in outpatient counselling in the public sector serving clients across the lifespan with various nutrition concerns, including chronic disease management, digestive concerns, health optimization, and disordered eating. Emily‘s main goal is to help her clients feel confident in any food-related decision they make, regardless of the area of their concern. Emily takes a weight-neutral approach to health where the pursuit of thinness gets put aside, diet plans are ditched, and meaningful values-based nutrition changes are made. When not working or studying, Emily can be found trying new recipes, mountain biking or cross-country skiing in the river valley, or being an all-around home body.
