Teaching your kids about the importance of self care and wellness is so important, so telling them that they’re going to a Body-Wellness appointment can sometimes be a little more accepted than a Massage! Things they can expect in their first appointment is learning a little about their body and how it works, what is “Safe Touch”, breathing techniques, stretching and movement tips and tricks. You can also practice some massage at home by massaging some lotion on their arms or legs slowly, and talking to them about their different body parts, muscles, bones etc. As the parent you will go home with some cool little tricks too!
