Philosophy:
I value creating an environment where individuals can be themselves, bringing their pain and struggles without fear of judgment. In this space, they are met with warmth, kindness, and understanding. I prioritize ensuring my clients feel genuinely heard, valued, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. With a decade of nursing experience, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most profound and difficult moments. This experience has shaped my compassionate, client-centred approach, allowing me to offer empathetic care and remain fully present in each interaction.
I’m excited to collaborate with clients, create shared goals, and support their growth throughout their therapeutic journey. I aim to empower them to develop resilience and inner strength, leading to a fulfilling life and lasting well-being.
While working together, I integrate evidence-based interventions and therapeutic approaches. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Humanistic Therapy, Behavioral Activation, Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Narrative Therapy.
Fun Fact:
When I’m not at Pine, I can often be found reading, hiking and skiing in the mountains, or supporting new families as a Healthy Beginnings Postpartum Public Health Nurse in the Edmonton zone.
