Philosophy:

Jessica is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College and Association of Acupuncture of Alberta(CAAA), a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and a Birth Doula. She has worked in the wellness industry for the past 15 years. She has a passion for combining Chinese Medicine with Functional Nutrition to uncover underlying causes of disease and to promote optimal wellness in her patients. Like many practitioners, Jessica’s interest in alternative medicine began after facing her own health issues. She was tired of only masking symptoms and began seeking other options. She turned to nutrition and acupuncture and was thrilled with the response. Additionally, she developed a deeper understanding of her body; this sparked the fire in her to help others.

Jessica has an affinity for women’s health. She feels the most in her purpose when she is assisting women through different transitional stages and hormonal pivots such as puberty (menstrual regulation), preconception, pregnancy, post-partum, and perimenopause. Her interests also include digestive disorders, skin conditions, anxiety, and depression.

Her goal is to provide a space where her patients feel supported, safe, and understood. She is committed to helping those who come to see her feel more connected, in tune, and in charge of their bodies. Jessica is known for being gentle with needling, nurturing, and compassionate. She is always up for a good laugh and conversation.
