At Pine, we value accessibility and understand that childcare can be a barrier. If you need to bring your child to session, we understand. Please discuss with your practitioner if this is conducive with your treatment plan.
This is definitely a possibility, and something you can discuss with your practitioner. Usually at the first session, clients come individually to create their treatment goals.
We really appreciate the desire that folks are interested in working with us, even when they know us personally, but we try to eliminate any chance for bias or multiple relationships. We would happily suggest a colleague that could help you.
We always want you to take care of your needs and feel comfortable. If that looks like coming in comfortable casual clothes, bringing a snack, water bottle and/or a journal to take notes, we love seeing our clients do what works for them and attending to their personal needs.
From a client-centred perspective, the pace is directed by the client, their presenting concerns/needs and is in consultation with their practitioner. This is a common question that can be answered at your first session.
