Do I stay in the room with my child during their treatment?

Yes. The parents MUST be present for the first treatment with their child. Depending on the age of the child, the therapeutic relationship (rapport and trust built) clear communication and boundaries, the parent may wait for the child outside of the treatment room for future appointments.
